  An   additive masterbatch   is essentially a concentrated mixture of additives that are used to modify or improve the physical or mechanical properties of the final product. They are used in all major industries which include automotive, electronics, agriculture, construction, healthcare, etc. Some of its common applications are UV stability, heat resistance, anti-static, processability, structural stability, anti-rodent and so on. Depending on the scope of the requirement, the additive masterbatch is added to the carrier resin so it can impart the desired property to the finished product.
